The Stevens Point Area Human Resource Association (SPAHRA) has provided member services to area HR professionals for over 10 years. SPAHRA consists of over 140 members representing more than 60 entities in the Central Wisconsin business community.   For more information on services offered, please see the SERVICES page of this website. 

• SPAHRA is an award-winning chapter of the National Society of Human Resources Management and one of fifteen Wisconsin SHRM Chapters. 

MISSION STATEMENT

The Stevens Point Area Human Resource association exists for the following purposes:

• To promote the individual growth and advancement of its members
• To develop and advance the understanding for human resource management through the information and idea exchange among its members
• To uphold and promote the standards and ideals of the human resource profession
• To provide opportunities for cooperative research, exchange of information among members, and monthly topics to keep abreast of human resource practices and changing labor laws

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is available for individuals actively engaged in human resource work or who have a bonafide interest in human resource management work and in the purpose of the organization.  For more information on membership, please see the MEMBERSHIP page of this website.
